What is your coverage area?
We cover from the Shenandoah Valley to Washington D.C, including Virginia, West Virginia & Maryland. Shoots that are more than 50 miles from our office in Winchester are subject to an additional travel fee.
What if I need to cancel?
Hey, we get it. Life happens and sometimes you need to cancel an appointment. We just ask that you provide at least a 24 hour notice. Appointments cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
If we travel to the appointment, and there is an on-site cancellation the client may be responsible for up to 50% of the total cost of the shoot.
We try our very best to work around the weather as much as possible. However, of course there are times that the weather is going to impede are ability to shoot your property. When this occurs we will work with you to reschedule your appointment to our next available time slot.
Does Absolute Altitude work weekends?
If our week is full or was impacted by weather, we will open up Saturday booking appointments. We choose to spend Sundays relaxing with our families.
How can I make sure my client’s home shows its best for photo day?
We know that this can be tough, which is why we created our photo-day prep guide. You can download, print and give this guide to your client or utilize it yourself to help prepare your client’s home for photos.
Because our photographers may have multiple appointments in any given day, we ask that you do your best to make sure the home is photo-ready by shoot day. This helps us to maintain a high-standard of punctuality and integrity with our clients.
Do you move things in a home?
Generally speaking, this is a no. We highly encourage all homes to be ready to shoot upon our arrival.
How long does a shoot take?
This will depend on size and the amount of services. Most homes in the 0-4 SF range can be completed in less than 60 minutes. We’d be happy to discuss this upon ordering if needed.
Do I have to be on site?
We know that you are busy and have a million and one things on your plate. If you feel you can’t be there, no worries. We’ll make sure everything is left the way we found it. Whatever is most comfortable for you and your client is fine with us! Again, we just ask that the home is photo-ready upon our arrival.
How will I be invoiced and how can I pay?
You will receive an invoice from our Quickbooks system to your email. We accept all major credit cards, checks and/or cash on site. Paying us by check or cash will save us on credit card fees, but feel free to pay by whatever method is easiest for you.
When is payment due?
We ask that payments be made upon delivery of all final media. Download PINs for photos will be released when invoices are paid in full.

What if the listing is taken off the market and put back on?
We understand there are occasions that homes need to come off the market for a period of time and put back on. If the home is coming off the market temporarily and being put back on by the same agent and brokerage, at a later time, we permit that agent and brokerage to reuse the Media for that listing at no additional cost.
What if my buyer is wants a copy of the images in order to rent or sell the property he/she purchased?
Homeowners are more than welcome to purchase a temporary or commercial term license so that they may reuse the images to resell or rent the property.
Can we combine your video work with our other videographer?
For the copyright protection of our work and the work of other artists, we do not permit our Media to be combined with the work of others. This creates a misrepresentation of who we are, who they are, and in some cases can present legal challenges.
Can you take drone photos and videos in the Washington D.C. area?
Yes, but depending on where exactly there are additional steps that may be necessary. If a special waiver is needed, we charge an additional $200 non-refundable waiver processing fee. Typically there is a 1-3 week approval time on these types of waivers. It is ultimately up to the FAA whether or not approval is granted and is not guaranteed. Waivers inside of 7 nautical miles of D.C. also require a police escort, which adds to the overall cost.
